  • Steps to renew a U.S. passport by mail
    • Complete Form DS-82 (which is the mail application for a U.S. passport).
    • Print and sign the passport renewal form.
    • Take a new passport photo.
    • Calculate the passport renewal fee.
    • In an envelope, place the DS-82 form after it has been signed, add the most recent passport photo, the previous passport, and add the fees.
    • Attach the legal document for the name change, if possible.
    • Send the envelope by mail to the appropriate address, which is located on the order form.
  • Make sure all of the following is true
    • Your current passport is not severely damaged, and you can attach it to the application.
    • Your passport was issued when you were 16 years of age or older.
    • Your passport has been issued within the last fifteen years.
    • Your passport is issued in your current name, or you provide legal proof related to your name change.

    • Colorful
    • White background
    • Photo should not be edited
  • Calculation of passport renewal fees
    • The current renewal fee is $110 for standard service.
  • Urgent Service Fees
    • $60, and you can also order the delivery of the new passport at night for an additional $16.48.
